OTHER WAYS TO GIVE

OTHER WAYS TO GIVE

In-Kind Donations

Certain items are always needed, especially for the families staying in Hagar’s House.

Please view our Ongoing Needs for a full list of DCM’s needs.

Please note, perishable food items should be donated to either The Open Door or Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House.

DCM rarely needs clothing, thanks to First Baptist Church Decatur and Oakhurst Presbyterian Church who provide DCM clients with clothes from their clothing banks.

Stock Transfers

To make a gift using publicly traded equities, please call our office at 404 377 5365 ext. 7 to speak with James Wilson, Director of Finance and Administration.

Legacy Giving

Planned giving is the act of coordinating your personal, financial, and estate planning goals with your interest in making lifetime and testamentary charitable gifts. Most planned gifts allow you to continue receiving the benefits of these assets during your lifetime, after which only the remaining value is transferred to a charity.

Testamentary gifts can involve as little as an addendum (bequest) to your will or making a beneficial designation in a retirement account, trust, or insurance policy. For more information, please contact Marlene White, Executive Director, at 404 377 5365 ext. 8.

Host a Fundraising Event

Are you or your company, organization, civic group, or church interested in hosting an event for DCM? If so, contact our Associate Director of Development at 404 377 5365 ext. 117
